Unlike a one-time certification, A2LA accreditation requires ongoing evaluation, meaning renewal represents a sustained commitment to the technical and operational rigor that federal agencies and cloud service providers depend on when selecting an independent assessor. The process examines whether assessment organizations continue to meet the competence and quality standards required to conduct independent federal security evaluations.
