360 Advanced, an established cybersecurity and compliance firm, is proud to announce the selection of Brad Lyons, Practice Director, and Chelsea Higgins, Quality Assurance Lead, to the 2020 HITRUST Authorized External Assessor Council and Quality Subcommittee.
Now in its second year, the council is committed to ensuring the integrity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the HITRUST CSF® Assurance Program. The creation of the Quality Subcommittee further upholds the program’s continued focus on maintaining a standard of excellence.
“At 360 Advanced, consistency and quality have always been, and will remain some of our top priorities, which makes our firm a natural fit for the council,” explained Danielle Kucera, Principal Officer and Quality Director. “We are excited to contribute to HITRUST’s ongoing improvements, while advocating for the needs of organizations seeking certification.”
As members of the council, 360 Advanced will be able to provide direct input on the assessment and certification program, while sharing challenges and opportunities that they have encountered as a Certified HITRUST CSF Assessor.
Having completed numerous HITRUST CSF assessments, including HITRUST CSF Validated Security Assessments, HITRUST CSF Interim Assessments, and guided HITRUST CSF Self-Assessments, the firm has deep experience – both with organizations in the healthcare industry and in other verticals.
“It’s an honor to be selected to the HITRUST Authorized External Assessor Council,” said Brad Lyons, Practice Director at 360 Advanced. “Chelsea and I have long been committed to providing our clients with support, communication, and guidance as they work toward HITRUST certification, and we look forward to taking the next step as part of HITRUST’s collaborative efforts.”
“We look forward to working with the new members of the Assessor Council,” said Matthew Datel, Director, Education and Strategic initiatives, HITRUST. “Being selected to this group is a testament to these individuals and their organization’s dedication to quality HITRUST services. We are excited to have their input as we look to continuously improve our programs here at HITRUST.”
