The holiday season in 2024 saw cybersecurity professionals across the country come together for a series of events hosted by the Compliance Alliance. From Dallas to Denver, Atlanta, and Chicago, these gatherings celebrated the season. Each event offered something different and served as a reminder of the power of community and collaboration during the holidays.
Making a Difference in Dallas
The Dallas cybersecurity community came together for a cause that truly makes a difference. Over 45 cybersecurity leaders gathered at the first Compliance Alliance holiday event of the season, with the mission of raising funds and awareness for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. This event marked the start of a series of initiatives that aim to spread holiday cheer and support those in need during the festive season.
The evening was filled with inspiring moments, beginning with a heartfelt speech by Major Dawn McFarland of Salvation Army North Texas. Major McFarland shared a powerful story about the positive impact the Angel Tree program has on children and seniors in North Texas and beyond. The program ensures that those who might otherwise go without gifts during the holiday season are able to receive them, creating lasting memories and offering a brighter holiday for families in need.
Thanks to the generous contributions of the attendees, the event raised an impressive total of $5,750.
A special thank you was extended to the Compliance Alliance partners who helped make the event possible, including:
- Maria Graham with Nuspire
- Jodi Watkins and the team at GTN Technical Staffing and Consulting
- Allan Alford with Alford and Adams Consulting
- Robert Wood and JL Mitra with Sidekick Security
- Jonah Schwartz-Dardick and Natalie Roberts with Anecdotes
Their support helped bring the evening to life and amplify the impact of the event.
Ice Sculptures, Friends, Family, and More in Denver
On a crisp wintry evening, members of the 360 Advanced team gathered at the Gaylord Rockies ICE Spectacular to host an event and celebrate the holiday season in style. With 80 attendees, including clients, prospects, friends, and family from the Denver Greater Metro Area, the event was a joyful opportunity to share in the holiday spirit.
The ICE Spectacular offered something for everyone—a dazzling display of intricate ice sculptures, delightful holiday shops, and thrilling ice slides. Despite the chilly temperatures, the warmth of connection and community made the evening truly special.
We are thrilled to have been able to treat some of the 360 Advanced team to this festive experience and extend our gratitude to everyone who joined us. Events like these remind us of the importance of celebrating together as we continue to grow within the Denver cyber community.
Here’s to more moments like this in the future!
A Festive Gathering in Atlanta
360 Advanced hosted an unforgettable holiday Compliance Alliance event at NY Prime Steakhouse, one of Atlanta’s finest establishments located in the vibrant Buckhead district.
The evening brought together around 30 valued alliance members, prospects, and clients for a delightful mix of networking, fine dining, and holiday cheer. Guests enjoyed fantastic food, expertly selected wines, and signature cocktails, creating an ambiance of warmth and collaboration.
Adding a festive touch, attendees left with unique take-home items, including cybersecurity-themed books for their kids in support of Teach Kids Tech, branded 360 Advanced gear, and more. The gathering proved to be the perfect environment for forming new alliances, strengthening existing relationships, and engaging in meaningful conversations about cybersecurity and compliance.
Giving Back in the Windy City
With over 50 attendees, the Holiday event in Chicago was a resounding success! The location was perfect for a holiday gathering—right in the heart of the Miracle Mile on Michigan Ave. Outside the theater, the holiday atmosphere was magical, with twinkling lights, Santa, and festive music, setting the tone for a memorable evening. Our guests were incredibly grateful for the event, and the cocktail hour (5 p.m. to 6 p.m. before the movie) provided the perfect opportunity to engage in great conversations and build connections.
We were thrilled to raise $125 in donations for Teach Kids Tech (TKT) and handed out over 20 Teach Kids Tech books. One of our guests, a local middle school teacher, expressed interest in collaborating further with the Compliance Alliance and TKT in the future. Additionally, we had fantastic discussions with a few high school students passionate about pursuing careers in cybersecurity.
