TAMPA, FL – 360 Advanced, Inc. announces it has hired two new senior associates, Dan Chemnitz and Virgil Floresca, as demand for the firm’s services grows.
Prior to joining 360 Advanced, Chemnitz was a Security & Risk Manager at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). For almost 20 years, Chemnitz has worked in banking, investments, and financial services. He has eight years of management level IT audit experience and 10 years in IT security.
Chemnitz received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ursinus College. With many years of experience, Chemnitz has areas of expertise in: IT risk assessments, GLBA & HIPAA data privacy and handling reviews, SAS70 (now SSAE 16), TG-3 (now TR-39), FFIEC government examinations, Payment Card Industry (PCI-DSS), client audits, and third-party vendor risk assessments.
Floresca spent more than six years as the IT Security Analyst for the City of St. Petersburg, developing and implementing the city’s first security initiatives before joining 360 Advanced. He also spent five years as a network engineer and IT consultant working on a range of projects from network and systems security to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Floresca has a focus on technical audits and assessments; his work ensures SOC 1 and PCI-DSS compliancy by performing internal security audits and routine security analysis and reporting. SOC 1 and PCI-DSS are some of the principle areas of Floresca’s expertise, along with security assessments and consulting, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
